Extra beds are available for large parties as is often required for travelling groups or families however this is still a 3 bedroom home designed for 6 to 8 persons. Our back bedroom is very large so we have placed a divider in the room to allow an extra bed and some privacy for groups with more than 6 persons. We are reluctant to accept large groups for Gilligans as we need an extra staff member to assist our caretaker and our boat is licensed by the coastguard for 6 passengers. We’ve previously had 21 on the boat but it’s illegal to do so now for safety reasons.
Please Note: Gilligans and Villa Marguerita are the only resorts in Port Barton with 24 hour lighting and refrigeration. Air-conditioning is not possible without running noisy generators, so we have installed fans beside each of the beds for the comfort of our guests. Our resorts are both run mainly on solar power. We have installed small solar hot water systems at each of our homes for showers however in hot weather, you’ll probably enjoy cold showers in the tropical climate of the Philippines. Alternative Lifestyle and Nude Sunbathing is available at Gilligans or on nearby islands. Both of our resorts are ‘Gay Friendly’ as is the Philippines in general, which has a large LGBT community. We have a variety of family and childrens games available to keep adults and children entertained.
